Voting in the Netherlands for the elections of the 3rd of March.

Many of you do not know that you have the right to vote for the coming elections of the 3rd of March. The elections of the 3rd of March are elections for the municipal council. In the Netherlands you can vote for the one that you think should be in the municipal council , the municipal council is controlling the alderman of the city of Eindhoven. The group of alderman is formed by the parties that have together a majority in the municipal
council.

So, who can vote for the elections :
-Foreigners from outside the EU that are living for more than five years legally in the Netherlands
and that are older than 18.
-Foreigners from 18 years and older from an EU-country that live in Eindhoven can vote if you are
registered since the 19th of January .
-People that are 18 years and older that have the Dutch nationality .
What do you need to vote  ?:
-You received a “stempas”  and you have to bring it to the “stembureau”
-You need to bring your passport or identity card to the “Stembureau”.

Voila now you can vote …......

We are living together in a beautifull city , the centre of technology and the centre of design , when
you vote you have the chance to change something.
